Martin & Cheyenne

April 24, 2011

So I don't know if this sneak peek is more for mom or for grandma (well actually I think I do know lol)
While Martin was awake for most of his photo session he was quite settled most of the time. Cheyenne (big sister) was excited to be there for some photos with her new little brother and it was great for me to be able to take some images of Cheyenne while mom was attending to Martin. Definitely a very busy session but also very satisfying.
So Cindy - I hope you enjoy the images.

Trisha & Shan

April 22, 2011

I’m so excited for Trisha and Shan.  They are expecting the arrival of their first little one in the near future.  This session was a kick off for a full year of photo sessions aimed at capturing all of the important stages in a baby’s first year.  Stay tuned for the progression over the next year.

Chris & Jenna

April 21, 2011

It was brisk and chilly on Sunday when Chris, Jenna and I met for their engagement session.  I arrived at Harbour View only to find that the lake was still frozen and swollen which therefore caused the dock to be off limits.  You’ve gotta love Winnipeg weather 🙂  Fortunately there were many other great areas for photographs.  I commented to Jenna on how much I loved her boots.  I’m not sure if I was more impressed with her boots or how willing and easily she climbed the play structure and climbed into a tree.  I had a great time with Jenna and Chris – they have a wonderful connection and I’m totally looking forward to their wedding this summer.

I met Ethan’s mom at the Baby and Kid’s Show at the convention center this year and she just loved the idea of capturing her little boy in the moment of play.  We set up a fantasy session with my fishing dock and reflecting pond and the rest was history.

Rick, Heather & Tendai

April 17, 2011

I was privileged to meet Rick and Heather and their beautiful daughter Tendai.  Rick & Heather live in Mozambique where they serve as missionaries.  On a time of furlough they decided to have some photos done of their family.  I loved photographing their absolutely darling little girl Tendai who’s name means Thankful to God:  I believe that this is a family that truly is.  Rick and Heather have already made their way back to Mozambique and I hope to see them in 2 1/2 years when they come back to visit.
